Typing Race
Race three bots to the finish line — one word at a time, in under a minute.
Start typing to begin the timer.
How to play
- 1Type the words in order — each correct word moves your racer forward.
- 2Three bots race alongside you at fixed speeds; catch and pass them.
- 3Correct letters turn green; fix mistakes with backspace.
- 4Cross the line first for the win, then check your WPM and accuracy.
What is a typing race?
A typing race turns speed practice into a head-to-head contest. Instead of staring at a lone WPM counter, you watch your racer pull ahead of — or slip behind — opponents moving at a fixed pace. That live comparison is a strong motivator: there is always a bot just ahead to chase.
How our race is scored
Every word you type correctly advances your racer by the same fraction of the track. The three bots run at roughly 30, 55 and 80 words per minute, so whatever your current speed there is a realistic target. When you cross the line you get your net WPM, your accuracy and your finishing position.

Frequently asked questions
You're given a short list of words. Each word you type correctly advances your racer along the track. Three bots move at set words-per-minute paces — beat them to the finish line to win.
The three opponents run at roughly 30, 55 and 80 WPM, so there's a target whatever your current speed. Your own WPM and accuracy are shown at the finish.
It's the same idea — a typing race against opponents — but built around short word sprints so a round takes under a minute and works well on phones.
Keep your eyes on the words ahead, not the ones you're typing, and don't stop to admire your lead. Short daily races plus a weekly timed test is the fastest way to move your average up.
