Mangal is the Unicode Devanagari font Windows ships with. 'Mangal typing' means Unicode Hindi typing, usually with the InScript keyboard layout, as required by SSC and many state exams.
InScript is the government standard and is built into Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. Remington (GAIL) is also accepted by some exams.
SSC CHSL and CGL Hindi typing require roughly 30–35 WPM. Accuracy thresholds are strict, so practise for clean output, not just speed.
