Frequently Asked Questions
Kruti Dev is a legacy non-Unicode Hindi font that maps Devanagari shapes onto English key positions. It was the standard for older typing exams and DTP work.
The passages are shown in standard Unicode Devanagari, but the letter-to-key patterns you practise carry over. For an exam that specifically requires the Kruti Dev font, practise in the exam's own software as well.
Most modern exams and workplaces have moved to Unicode (Mangal). Learn Unicode unless a specific exam you are sitting still mandates Kruti Dev.
