Often in keystrokes per hour (KPH) rather than WPM. As a rough guide, 8,000 KPH is entry level and 10,000–12,000 KPH is strong.

Whichever the job uses. A dedicated numeric keypad is faster for pure figures; the number row is fine for mixed text-and-number entry.

Very high — typically 98%+ — because a single wrong digit can corrupt a record. Practise for accuracy first, speed second.
